AMAZING NEWS!!!
On the heels of World AIDS Day comes a stunning medical breakthrough: Doctors believe an HIV-positive man who underwent a stem cell transplant has been cured as a result of the procedure.
Timothy Ray Brown, also known as the "Berlin Patient," received the transplant in 2007 as part of a lengthy treatment course for leukemia. His doctors recently published a report in the journal Blood affirming that the results of extensive testing "strongly suggest that cure of HIV infection has been achieved."
Brown's case paves a path for constructing a permanent cure for HIV through genetically-engineered stem cells.
Last week, Time named another AIDS-related discovery to its list of the Top 10 Medical Breakthroughs of 2010. Recent studies show that healthy individuals who take antiretrovirals, medicine commonly prescribed for treating HIV, can reduce their risk of contracting the disease by up to 73 percent.
While these developments by no means prove a cure for the virus has been found, they can certainly provide hope for the more than 33 million people living with HIV worldwide. Alongside such findings, global efforts to combat the epidemic have accelerated as of late, with new initiatives emerging in the Philippines and South Africa this week.

Last night a guy called me a "fake niggeress". I was wearing high heels and a huge cleavage, but I went after his ass.
It was this french hipster dude. Little skanky ass got upset cos I managed to be in the front row for Die Antwoord's concert (by the way, i was the only girl there. Or in the first three rows). He hissed it to his mate, but I heard it. I was like, NO, you did NOT JUST CALL ME THAT.
So I turned around, put my tits in his face and urged him to repeat it. From that moment on, when I saw the fear in his eyes, I enjoyed this whole thing so much it's a little bit scary.
He did repeat it, with a little flinch in his voice, and for fok sake, I'd never even imagined I could talk so dirty in French. That shit was G.H.E.T.T.O.
As I was sayin how his bourgeois mother worshiped my fake nigger girldick too often and pushing his forehead with my middle finger, my hand started itching.
His face was pretty and soft, still my hand got sore. Thou i know for sure that his sorry face is more.
People rushed to separate us when I hit him in da face, and he left the club like a wet dog to the sweet sound of my voice saying "VIENS, VIENS, VIENS QUE JE T'ENCULE AVEC ". My gangsta self is sharp like a samurai sword.
So, to all of the race haters out there, FOK YOU. You are losers. You can't figure out which race-case i'm supposed to fit in so your two neurons clash in your head and make you say stupid -and dangerous- things.
Trying to ignore the urge to kick more ass that I have (a history of violence... sigh... it's just ... so empowering. like when you fight in dreams and you have moves youve never even thought of before) , I started doing a little research, and shiiiiit, white supremacist are really out there!

27/10/10 - 10:00Sufrió un parocardiorrespiratorio con muerte súbita, según confirmaron a Clarín desde el equipo médico presidencial. Había ingrsado esta mañana en hospital José Formenti de la ciudad de El Calafate acompañado por su esposa, la presidenta Cristina Fernández, pero no pudieron reanimarlo.
El ex presidente Néstor Kirchner falleció esta mañana en la ciudad de El Calafate a raíz de un paro cardiorrespiratorio.
El ex mandatario sufrió una descompensación durante la madrugada, mientras participaba de una reunión en su casa de la villa santacruceña.
Oficialmente fue una “paro cardiorrespiratorio con muerte súbita”. Según confirmaron a Clarín fuentes del equipo médico presidencial, en el hospital José Formenti de la ciudad santacruceña no pudo ser reanimado.
El ex presidente, que tenía 60 años, había llegado a la clínica acompañado por su esposa, la presidenta Cristina Fernández.
El ex presidente había sufrido al menos dos episodios en el último año que lo habían obligado a internaciones de urgencia. La primera fue en febrero, cuando fue operado de la carótida. Y el 11 de septiembre último tuvo que ser sometido a una angioplastia y le colocaron un stent. Los médicos le habían recomendado cambiar su estilo de vida debido al estrés.
Antes de ser elegido presidente en 2003, Kirchner fue alcalde de Río Gallegos, capital de Santa Cruz (1987-1991) y gobernador de esa provincia (1991-2003). En 2009 fue elegido diputado nacional, cargo por el que tenía mandato hasta el 2013. Y el 4 de mayo pasado había sido nombrado secretario general de la Unasur.
